Intelligent Troodontid Concept

Description

It may look like a Jurassic Park-style raptor, but this conceptual sketch actually depicts a hypothetical descendant of the troodont dinosaurs (Troodontidae) which has evolved a sapient level of intelligence comparable to human beings. After mastering the controlled use of fire, these troodonts have shed their ancestral feathers and replaced them with scales (since they no longer needed feathery coats for warmth), but they still like to attach feathers from other species to their decorative jewelry. They also wear sharp metal "caps" on their talons to inflict even more damage on prey and enemies.

Troodontids used their feathers for more than just warmth. Furthermore, they are technically only about as smart as Oppossums, so chances are that an intelligent Troodontid would look quite different from the (in this scenario) basal ones. However, yours is just "Normal Troodontid, plucked and compressed"

....And I am sorry for nitpicking, but why is it growing teeth out of the side of its lips? And why does it have snake-esque pupils, which appear to be freely moving? And isn't it ridiculously redundant for an ancestrally feathery animal to decorate itself with feathers? And wouldn't a sapient naked Dinosaur likely wear some form of clothing to compensate? And why is the tail so bendy? And aren't those metal caps a bit counterproductive, considering Maniraptorans first and foremost use their claws to climb and hold onto stuff? And why does it have those weird scaly eyebrows? And why does it look like it's starving? And is that weird hump on the back intentional...?
